Getting close to Beer thirty

Hi all, sorry I'm not Blog savvy but I have been busy building a very unique building that will house a very unique Brewery. Our custom made brewhouse is actually being built right now and we hope to take delivery of it sometime the end of March. While we wait we continue to finish the inside of our "one of a kind" community built "Tavern" so we can display and sell our very cool ales.
Just so everyone knows, even with all the ridiculous red tape struggles we seem to have trying to bring business to our Town, we are not going away,.... we will prevail. We are not going anywhere and plan on changing the "Town-a-tude" into something positive. So our slogan for this year is ,... Become part of the solution or,...... Get out of the way!

Sorry,.. ranting a bit. I've been studying the life of George Washington and he was one amazing guy. I can't begin to explain his demeanor or wisdom, but I can try to emulate it.
Onward we will strive, to bring properity back to the Region we call home.

Boothbay Resort becomes home to Boothbay Craft Brewery

After much research, interviews and assistance from fellow brewers, pictures, videos, demonstrations of brewing, and printing- collating-and fondling of paperwork, (not to mention a few cold ones and some cursing) the Town of Boothbay finally approved our use request for the addition of a small craft brewery at our property...... Woooo Hoooo! So here we go, we are on a mission to bring a positive additon and change to our hometown. We hope you start to follow this blog about our progress and please feel free to post comments as we move forward.
Cheers!

Boothbay Resort receives an Environmental Leader Award

The Boothbay Resort and the 1828 Vintage House Wine, Cheese & Beer Shop are proud to announce they have received the Environmental Leadership Award. After a three year marathon of renovations, most visible and many behind the scenes, application was made to Maine’s Department of Environmental Protection for the certification. Notice of approval was just recently received.

Owners, Win, Lori & Tancy Mitchell are excited about their successful efforts to meet criteria as an Environmental Leader and consider the results a win-win proposition. While reducing the impact of business on the environment, they have also reduced expenses considerably. They challenge others to do the same, and envision the positive impact if most businesses in the Boothbay Region joined to become Maine’s 1st Community of Environmental Leaders.
